Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions or SRGI was established in 1997 as GD Rungta Educational Society. The Group consists of two campuses and four different institutes, namely, Rungta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhilai; Rungta College of Dental Science and Research; Rungta College of Science and Technology; Rungta College of Engineering and Technology. These private institutions are affiliated by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. Rungta Group of Institutions are recognised by AICTE, DTE, CSVTU, PCI, DHE, NBA, SCERT, NTE and IB. 

Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions, SRGI offer over 60 programmes across all campuses. From undergraduate diploma courses to bachelor’s to master’s to a postgraduate diploma, the institutes offer a variety of programme to its students. The admission to these courses required an online application procedure and meeting the eligibility criteria. SRGI accept entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, JEE, CG PPT, etc. 

Infrastructure facilities offered at Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions include two state-of-the-art campuses, over 150 acres of lush green campus, 124 E-classrooms (equipped with LCD Screens, IP Cameras and Tablet PCs), over 60 tutorial rooms, 4 auditoriums with a combined capacity of around 2,000 students, an open-air theatre with a seating capacity of over 5,000 students, two open-air stages with an accommodation capacity of around 6,000 students, more than 150 state-of-the-art labs, sports facilities and playing arenas for many sports. 

The central library of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions is stretched over 25,000 sp ft. of land. It is equipped with over one lakh books including references, periodicals, international and national journals. The library has access to over 500 world’s best online journals.

The institutes also provide on-campus hostel facilities to its students with an accommodation capacity of 2,000 students.  The hostels are equipped with AC, TV, furniture and what not. The institute also has an on-campus cafeteria that suits everyone’s taste.  

One of the many reasons behind SRGI’s spectacular placement performance is its tie-ups with well-known organisations. Some of its tie-ups include Universal Education, Bangalore that offers soft skills training to its students, HCL K2 Academy that offers IT and skill training, HP to process the establishment of an HP Excellence Centre, etc.  The Group also has international tie-ups with many foreign universities.
