The Panjab University admission for 2023 is currently open.
For the Panjab University MDS admission 2023, the NEET PG result 2023 has been announced by the National Board of Examination (NBE) on March 14, 2023. The NBE has released the result on its official website nbe.edu.in. Students can check the results using their application ID and password. The scorecards for the result are expected to be released soon. Students will also have to meet the Panjab University cut off for the MDS course to secure a seat.
Punjab University QS Ranking 2022 is within 301-350. The PUCHD admission for MBA has now been closed. Panjab University Chandigarh is also releasing the merit lists for admission to its UG, PG, and Diploma courses. Students can check the same on onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in.
Panjab University Chandigarh was established in 1882 as the University of Lahore. In 1947 the university relocated to Chandigarh. PUCHD is a Central and State funded university. PUCHD is accredited by NAAC with an A grade. The PUCHD campus area is of 550 acres. The university is also approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Panjab University Chandigarh NIRF 2023 ranking was 23. PUCHD courses are offered in around 850 disciplines and it has a faculty of 900 teachers. Considering a semester or an academic year, the PUCHD fee structure for any course is divided into a few sub-groups and they are; tuition fees, maintenance fees, utility fees, other charges and funds, examination fees, and contributions. The total value of all the sub-groups taken together is to be paid in two instalments for an academic year. For each academic year pertinent to a course and a discipline of study the value of the total fee shall differ for the respective academic year in the course.
There are however separate fees for the hostel, migration, registration, and lateral admission. The fee-sub-groups remain constant for all the Panjab University courses with their durations included such as bachelor, master, doctoral and special courses. The Cut-off marks and merit list for the PU-CET SCORE-CET exam, 2023 for admission to PU-CET SCORE is usually released around the third week of September each year. The cut-off marks for the different courses are calculated as 15% of the marks scored by the un-reserved category and 10% for the reserved category. The percentile of each stream will be evaluated and added with the scores of the previous qualifications to the PU-CET Score the rank of an applicant as per the merit list. A weightage of 25 % marks is the PU-CET Score on the higher secondary marks and 75 % for the graduation to post-graduation marks as applicable.
