OJEE aspirants for B.Tech admissions must note that they have an option to appear for multiple engineering entrance exams other apart from OJEE. A student can apply for the state-level exam, i.e., OJEE, and national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ Advanced. On the other hand, there are various deemed universities in India, which conduct their own entrance exam for B.Tech admissions. For example, KIIT University (Odisha) conducts KITEE for B.Tech admissions. Similarly, there are various deemed universities in India for which the candidates can aspire for admission. However, if you are aspiring for admission under the state quota or concession seat, appearing for the state-level entrance exam is mandatory. Deemed universities also offer tuition waivers or scholarships for top rank holders of the entrance exam.

Earlier JEE Main used to be known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Only if the applicants managed to make a place among the top 1.5 lac candidates, then they could proceed for JEE Advanced 2023.
Candidates must have qualified the Class 12 examination with five relevant science stream subjects.
In order to be able to appear for the entrance examination, the candidates must have secured 75% marks and the reserved category candidates must have 65% in class 12 aggregate.
The JEE Advanced is a gateway for 10,000 candidates to secure seats in Engineering Institutes pan India. This JEE Advanced is considered to be the most difficult entrance examination at the national level.
Candidates will have to rank among 1,50,000 candidates of JEE Main 2023.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) has a similar difficulty level to JEE Advanced. So the same preparation can be utilized to appear for BITSAT 2023.
Candidates who have a 75% aggregate in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths combination will be eligible to appear for this examination.
The candidates must have scored 60% marks in each of the subjects individually in Class 12.
After appearing for the above-mentioned examinations the applicants would again be able to appear for OJEE 2023. Apart from these national-level engineering entrance examinations, the applicant can also appear for several state-level examinations.
