About OJEE 2023

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Authority has extended the application deadline of OJEE 2023 till March 31, 2023. The OJEE 2023 application form correction window will be open from April 1 to 2, 2023. The OJEE 2023 exam will be conducted from May 8 to 12, 2023. It is important to review the OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 before proceeding with the registration process. Admit Card of OJEE 2023

The OJEE admit card is a mandatory document that must be submitted to the exam center. After the registration period is over, the OJEE 2023 admit card will be made accessible on the official website. OJEE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates must download their OJEE hall ticket and have a double copy in case they misplace it at the last moment. The students will not be allowed entry with the hall ticket
  • Students should check the details stated on the OJEE admit card 2023 before downloading it
  • Students are required to carry a valid ID photo on the day of the test. Photo ID can be any of the following - Voter ID, Aadhar Card / Photo Registration Number, Rating Card, Driver's License, PAN Card and Passport
  • Students under the PwD category are required to carry a PWD certificate and an admission card
  • Candidates must carry a passport-like photo attached to the confirmation slip
  • Students must pass instructions related to the examination center as stated on the OJEE consent card before appearing on the exam.
  • Students should carry a black / blue pen to do the hard work
  • The OJEE 2023 admit card must be signed by the candidate in the presence of the invigilator only
  • Candidates will need to bring two copies of the OJEE admit card 2023 and keep one copy of the admission card after the Invigilator has signed and certified it. They must keep it once the admission process has been completed

OJEE 2023 Result

Once the exam is over, the OJEE 2023 result will be released by the authorities as a rank card and merit list. To obtain their scorecard, candidates must log in using their roll number. The announcement of the OJEE result 2023 is likely to be in the third week of July, 2023. The authorities will also release a merit list along with the results. For various courses, the authorities will provide various merit lists. Candidates must print out their scorecards for future reference such as the counselling process. 

OJEE 2023 Counselling Process

OJEE 2023 counselling is an online mode process for final seat allotment. Candidates qualifying the exam can participate in OJEE counselling 2023 on basis of their ranks and schedule. OJEE board releases the final seat allotment after the counselling process.  Beginning in August 2023, OJEE 2023 counselling will be conducted online. All shortlisted candidates will be required to take part in the counselling process. Candidates will only be given admission once the counselling process is over. Candidates will select their desired course of study and college throughout the counselling process.

During counselling, authorities will also check the validity of the papers. Candidates must thus have the necessary documentation with them when they arrive for the counselling procedure. All JEE rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status.

OJEE 2023 Cutoff

The cutoff of OJEE 2023 will be declared after the announcement of the result of OJEE 2023. The participating colleges of OJEE 2023 will decide their individual cutoff scores which will get published by Orissa Joint Entrance Examination authority. The OJEE cutoff 2023 refers to the minimum marks required from the candidates for admission in the participating institutes of OJEE 2023. It is necessary for candidates to successfully get placed in the cutoff list in order to be eligible for further rounds of the selection process.

Options Other Than OJEE 2023

OJEE aspirants for B.Tech admissions must note that they have an option to appear for multiple engineering entrance exams other apart from OJEE. A student can apply for the state-level exam, i.e., OJEE, and national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ Advanced. On the other hand, there are various deemed universities in India, which conduct their own entrance exam for B.Tech admissions. For example, KIIT University (Odisha) conducts KITEE for B.Tech admissions. Similarly, there are various deemed universities in India for which the candidates can aspire for admission. However, if you are aspiring for admission under the state quota or concession seat, appearing for the state-level entrance exam is mandatory. Deemed universities also offer tuition waivers or scholarships for top rank holders of the entrance exam.

JEE Main 2023

Earlier JEE Main used to be known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Only if the applicants managed to make a place among the top 1.5 lac candidates, then they could proceed for JEE Advanced 2023. 

JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have qualified the Class 12 examination with five relevant science stream subjects.

In order to be able to appear for the entrance examination, the candidates must have secured 75% marks and the reserved category candidates must have 65% in class 12 aggregate. 

JEE Advanced 2023

The JEE Advanced is a gateway for 10,000 candidates to secure seats in Engineering Institutes pan India. This JEE Advanced is considered to be the most difficult entrance examination at the national level. 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2023

Candidates will have to rank among 1,50,000 candidates of JEE Main 2023. 

BITSAT 2023

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) has a similar difficulty level to JEE Advanced. So the same preparation can be utilized to appear for BITSAT 2023. 

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2023

Candidates who have a 75% aggregate in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths combination will be eligible to appear for this examination. 

The candidates must have scored 60% marks in each of the subjects individually in Class 12. 

After appearing for the above-mentioned examinations the applicants would again be able to appear for OJEE 2023. Apart from these national-level engineering entrance examinations, the applicant can also appear for several state-level examinations.
