NEET 2023 application form last dateis April 6, 2023. Students wishing to appear for NEET 2023 Exam are required to submit their applications before the last date, post which, no registrations will be accepted. The application process for NEET UG 2023 began on March 6, 2023. One must fill in all correct details pertaining to their personal and educational qualification.

Documents Required for NEET Application Form 2023

The NEET 2023 exam will take place on May 7, 2023, with over 16 lakh participants expected. NEET 2023 offers admission to a total of 100,388 MBBS, 27,868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 487 BSc nursing, and 603 BVSc seats, including 1899 AIIMS MBBS and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats. Eligible candidates are advised to stay informed about important dates such as the NEET application form, correction window, admit card, exam date, and NEET result.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET 2023 exam for 3 hours and 20 minutes between 2 pm to 5:20 pm on the main exam day. NTA NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants need to check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the NEET exam, as specified by the NTA. Only the candidates who fulfilled the NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria were allowed to take up the exam for 2023. 

Nationality 

Applicants who belong to the nationalities given below are eligible to apply for NEET 2023:

  • Indian Nationals

  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

  • Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)

  • Non Resident Indian (NRI)

  • Foreign Nationals 

Age Limit

As per the official notification released on April 6, 2023, the lower age limit of the candidates to appear for the NTA NEET Exam 2023. The candidates must be at least 17 years old (born on or before December 31, 2005) to appear for NEET 2023. There is no upper age limit applicable for the test.

Minimum Qualification 

Here are the pointers for the minimum educational qualification required to apply for NEET 2023

  • Candidates who have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised Board of Education or even an open school can appear for the exam.

  • It must also be noted that all aspiring candidates need to have PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in their 10+2 are also eligible for the exam. 

  • The minimum marks required for appearing in NEET UG 2023 varies for different categories. In the General category, aspiring candidates require 50% marks. In the PWD category, aspiring candidates require 45% marks. In the SC/ST/OBC category, aspiring candidates require 40% marks.

Documents Required to Fill NEET Application Form 2023:

Before filling out the NEET application form, students need to gather all the documents and create them in a standard size digitally as mentioned in the instructions. This will smoothen your registration form-filling process and prevent any server timeouts. Here are all the details and documents you require while filling out the NEET 2023 application form:

  • Identity card: Verified IDs such as an Aadhaar card, pan card, ration card, passport, bank account passbook, or some other government photo ID card are required and accepted.

  • Personal details: Personal and communication details like the candidate and parents' name, date of birth (DOB), temporary and permanent address, active email ID, and personal mobile number.

  • Images: Candidates need scanned images of a recent passport-size photograph, signature, postcard-size photograph, and left thumb impression.

Steps to Apply Online For NEET 2023 Exam @neet.nta.nic.in:

The NEET application form 2023 process allows students to appear for the entrance test and secure admission into their dream colleges. There are various steps involved in the NEET registration process such as:

  • Step 1- Head over to the official website of NEET 2023

  • Step 2- Click on the NEET (UG) Website and Registration button 

  • Step 3- Fill in all the relevant details in the NEET 2023 Application Form as required. These include Full Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and educational qualification 

  • Step 4- Mention the present address as well as the permanent address of the candidate with the correct pin code, locality, district, city/town/village, state, and country

  • Step 5- Choose a secure password and select a security question and a security pin of your choice during the NEET application form 2023 process

  • Step 6- Mention your category (whether General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Remember that once selected, the category of the NEET 2023 exam cannot be changed later. Mention if a scribe is required (for PwD category candidates) 

  • Step 7- Select the medium of question paper you would like to appear for on the NEET exam date 2023 and make your choice of exam center

  • Step 8- Upload documents such as the Class 10 and 12 mark sheet and passing certificates

  • Step 9- A passport-size color photograph of the candidate and a postcard-size color photograph (dimensions: 4”x6”) need to be uploaded in the size 10KB to 200KB 

  • Step 10- A photograph of the signature of the applicant with black ink on white paper (size: 4KB to 30 KB) will need to be uploaded 

  • Step 11- A photograph of the left thumb impression of the applicant (size: 10KB to 200KB) has to be uploaded 

  • Step 12- The NEET application form 2023 fees must be paid by the applicant through the SBI/HDFC/ICICI/Canara Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway or through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking/UPI/Wallet. 

  • Step 13- Print the fee payment receipt for future use 

  • Step 14- Click submit and wait for verification by the concerned authorities to appear for the NEET 2023 exam.

NEET 2023 Form Correction

NEET 2023 form correction allows candidates to make changes in some aspects of their registration form details. Applicants are allowed to edit/ modify details of their NEET 2023 registration details like:

  • Medium of NTA NEET exam

How to Make Corrections in NEET 2023 Application Form?

Every year NTA gives candidates a chance to edit/ modify incorrect details in the NEET application form 2023. It is a one-time facility that only registered candidates can avail.   1. Visit the official website for NEET 2023 login

  2. Enter your application number and date of birth on the candidate portal to sign in

  3. Select the option form correction and begin making changes

  5. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to approve the corrections made

  6. Click on the final submit button to confirm all your newly-made corrections

NEET 2023 Admit Card @ntaneet nic in

The NEET 2023 Admit Card will be released 3-7 days before the exam on the official website. To get the NEET admit card 2023, a candidate has to log in with their NEET registration/application number/Roll Number and password and then download the admit card in a PDF format. Print it out and then paste a recent postcard-sized photograph (dimensions: 4"x6") in the space provided on the NEET Admit Card. 

The NEET 2023 Admit Card has to be signed by the parent/guardian of the candidate. However, the space provided for the signature of the candidate should remain blank. It must be filled by the candidate in front of the counselling officials. The NEET Admit Card 2023 has to be carried to the examination center in order to sit for the exam. After the test has been conducted, the nta nic in result will be posted on the official website 15-20 days later.

Moreover, after registration online, downloading the NEET Admit Card 2023 is the next step. Once the hall ticket is available, all candidates will be notified via NEET news, message, or email. NEET 2023 Exam Pattern

Each subject of the NEET 2023 syllabus is divided into Section A and Section B. In Section A, there are 35 questions, while Section B has 15 questions. The options are present in Section B. Therefore, the candidate has to answer 10 out of 15 questions provided there during the NEET 2023 exam. Within the duration of 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes), the candidate has to mark the answers on the OMR sheet provided to them. Here are some more details on the NEET 2023 exam pattern.

The ntaneet nic in NEET 2023 Syllabus mainly consists of the three subjects involved in the Science stream. These subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Mathematics is not compulsory for even though opting for it is not a hindrance. The syllabus is the same as that of classes 11 and 12. Here are some guidelines that candidates can follow while appearing for NEET 2023 exam:

NEET Exam 2023 Tie-Breaking Criteria

There are often cases where two students get the same marks in the NEET exam. In such situations, the NTA has a NEET tie-breaking criteria that helps moderators come to a conclusion. Below-mentioned is the NEET tie-breaking criteria in order of priority if two people get the same marks in NEET 2023.

  1. Candidate who has scored higher marks in biology will be given the first preference or a higher rank. 

  2. If the NEET exam 2023 tie still exists, then the aspirant who has scored high marks in chemistry will be provided with a higher rank.

  3. If the tie still does not break, then the candidates scoring more marks in the physics subject will be given a higher rank. 

  4. Candidate who has fewer incorrect responses in comparison to correct responses in Biology will be preferred over the other.

  5. Candidate who has fewer incorrect responses in comparison to correct responses in Chemistry will be preferred over the other.

  6. Candidate who has fewer incorrect responses in comparison to correct responses in Physics will be preferred over the other.

  7. Lastly, if the tie still persists after applying all the above-mentioned methods, then the candidate older in age will be directly allocated a higher rank.

NEET Cutoff 2023
