#21 Ranked in 2021
Overall: Hello, my name is Mayank Sharma, and I graduated from the Rohini campus of Jagannath Community College (JCC) in 2018. I was inspired by the prospect of leveraging the data to do predictive analytics and uncover rules and patterns due to the enormous quantity, complexity, and availability of data today. The fact that machine learning is a highly technical and quantitative field was another factor in my desire. The management program is designed to offer exposure to the various management streams as well as leadership experience. Digital technology appeared to be an additional layer to my education that allowed me to connect my experiences with the information era we are now living in. I needed to develop to get the most out of my curriculum. The completion of my Master’s at JCC after two years of rigorous and hard work has to be my fondest memory. It gave me a chance to reflect on what I had learned over the previous two years and see how crucial the course had been in forming my knowledge of data science. Working with my supervisors, coworkers, and partners to expand the machine learning models and enable knowledge discovery allowed me to further develop my data analytics, machine learning, and AI abilities. I was particularly intrigued by the idea and the logic of turning data—whether little or large—into knowledge to enable responsible decision-making.
Placement: The experience of placements was generally relatively simple because of Jagannath Community College (JCC), which provided orientation meetings and presentation sessions/guidance by alumni who had previously been placed through recruitment. We received information on a certain employment function and company with plenty of time to investigate whether it was a suitable fit for us. Every employer we spoke with during our pre-placement visits addressed all of our inquiries on the job or company.
Infrastructure: Modern classrooms, an IT centre, a communication lab, audio-visual tools and presentation tools, internet and intranet connectivity in classrooms, digital electronic labs and FM radio studios, hospitality kitchens and labs, design studios, and a large library with a mixed collection of books and journals are all part of the proper infrastructure at JCC.
Faculty: The Jagannath Community College (JCC) academic session offers life and recorded lectures, project-based immersive learning, and expert sessions on career assistance. Industry experts with in-depth knowledge and training in the sector provided me with all the support I needed to further my career. The mentors are pretty helpful, and I could get in touch with them anytime I needed assistance. The mentors provided mentoring and advice with placement suggestions that were guaranteed.
Overall: Hello, my name is Bikram Behra, and I have a degree in banking and finance from Jagannath Community College (JCC), Rohini. The courses themselves gave us a solid basis in banking, risk management, and fund administration, enabling us to comprehend the present market as well as the facets of investing, financial analysis, and risk management. There are many different aspects of banking, including corporate and investment banking, equities research, trading, asset management, etc. Finance, however, can also refer to positions in corporate finance and financial analysis at businesses in the sector, even outside of banking. In the end, a job in finance is rewarding, demanding, meritocratic, and gives you an unmatched blend of abilities in quantitative decision-making and intellect. My horizons have been broadened by the acquaintances I made and the experiences I had while attending university. Soon after graduating, I was fortunate to land a position with Public Bank. I feel that what pushed me to become who I am now was my attitude and desire. I've gained a lot of information from the lectures given here by people with extensive industrial experience, who link theoretical understanding to practical experiences. It has helped me acquire a variety of skills that have improved my employability. JCC Rohini also arranges a variety of events that aid in students' personal development, making JCC Rohini graduates very marketable.
