JEE Main Exam 2023

JEE Main 2023 advance city intimation slipwill be released by NTA tentatively by March 30, 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main city Intimation 2023 is a document that details a candidate's exam centre and exam venue. Keeping in view the past trends, JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit card will be available to download by April 2nd or 3rd. The JEE Main 2023 April session will be conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12, 2023.

Earlier, the JEE Main 2023 application form session 2 was reopened till March 16, 2023. The National Testing Agency declared theJEE main result 2023 session 1 on February 7 at nta results.nic.in. Candidates can check their JEE Main 2023 result with their application number and password/ date of birth. Students can check the scores for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as well as the combined percentile score for all three subjects in their JEE Main result 2023. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 was held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1. According to the NTA, a total of 8.6 lakh students registered for the JEE Main 2023 January session, with 8.22 lakh participants attended the exam. The number of candidates who took the JEE Main 2023 January session was 95.79 percent.

NTA is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 in an online mode of 3 hours for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in 424 exam centres. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2023 and who are appearing in 2023 are eligible to apply for NTA JEE Mains 2023.

About JEE Main 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Paper 1) for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses provided at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded/recognized by participating state governments. JEE Main exam paper 2 is for admission to B.Arch/B.Plan degrees. JEE Main also serves as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is for admission to IITs.

JEE Main 2023 Conducting Body

The National Testing Agency (NTA) was founded as a leading, specialized, independent, and self-sufficient testing agency in order to administer entrance exams for admission in higher educational institutions. Since the  NTA is an autonomous body, examination transparency will increase as a result. The dates for the competitive tests will vary, giving students the flexibility to select the times that work best for them.

The JEE Apex Board (JAB) was formed by the ministry of education to set the Joint Entrance Exam paper (JEE Main). Candidates who will qualify JEE Main exam are also eligible to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technologies (IITs).

JEE Main Admit Card 2023

The NTA will release the JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit card tentatively by April 3, 2023. The official download link for JEE Mains admit card April session is updated at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Only those who successfully register for NTA JEE Mains Phase 2 are given the IIT JEE Mains admit card 2023. To obtain the JEE Main 2023 admit card card, students must utilize their JEE Main 2023 login credentials - application form number and password. The JEE Main 2023 admit card session 2 is released separately for each  exam date.

Each session's NTA JEE Mains admit card 2023 will be published individually. JEE Main 2023 admit card contains information about the national level entrance test such as a center address, JEE Mains exam date and time, personal information, guidelines, and more.

Candidates must bring their JEE Main admit card 2023, as well as a valid ID evidence, to the JEE test center. Students will not be allowed to enter the test venue unless they have a valid JEE Main 2023 admit card.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023

JEE Main has three papers: Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B. (B.Planning). There will be no major modifications to the JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern.The exam duration is for 3 hours and is given online as a computer-based test. The JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam is available in 13 languages. The paper contains MCQ and Numerical type of questions, and for JEE Main 2023 Paper 2A and 2B, there is a drawing section.  In JEE Main, each right answer is worth 4 points, while each incorrect answer deducts 1 mark (MCQ or numerical-based answer).

JEE Main 2023 Syllabus

JEE Main Syllabus 2023 and official booklet are now available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. There will be no modifications to the JEE Main syllabus 2023.

The JEE Main Syllabus for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) contains Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics courses.The JEE Main Syllabus for Paper 2A (B.Arch) includes topics such as Aptitude, Drawing, and Mathematics. Paper 2B (B.Planning) contains themes such as Arithmetic, Aptitude, and Planning-based problems.

Applicants can download the JEE Main 2023 Syllabus PDF below, which comprises all of the essential themes and sub-topics for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and other subjects.

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key

NTA  releases the JEE main 2023 session 2 answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in.  Initially, the JEE Main 2023 provisional answer key is released, which candidates can raise objections to. Following the consideration of objections, the final answer key of JEE Main 2023 april session is released. Candidates must go to the website, and use their application form number and password/date of birth to get the answer key. The correct solutions to all of the test questions are included in the JEE Main 2023 answer key. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 answer key was released on February 5, 2023.

JEE Main Cutoff 2023

The minimum marks required by the candidates to participate in further admissions rounds of JEE Main 2023 are called the cutoff of JEE Main 2023. The cutoff plays a vital role in getting admission into participating colleges accepting JEE Main scores. Candidates who will meet the JEE Main cutoff will only be eligible for further admission rounds. The cutoff JEE Main is of two types - admission cutoff and qualifying cutoff. NTA will release the JEE Main 2023 cutoff along with the JEE Main result on its official website. The JEE Main cutoff 2023 is released separately for candidates belonging to different categories.

JEE Main Counselling 2023

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts JEE Main counselling as per the All India Rank (AIR) obtained by the candidates in the JEE Main exam. The counselling process of JEE Mains will be conducted in online mode only. Through the JEE Main counselling process 2023, the candidates can secure seats in the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs in addition to all the reputed state-level and private engineering institutions in India.

The list contains the name of all the participating colleges that accept JEE Main scores and offer admission into various undergraduate engineering courses. JEE Main 2023 Seat Allotment Process

The counselling and seat allotment process of JEE Main 2023 will be carried out subsequently. The seat allotment process for JEE Main 2023 will be carried out in multiple rounds. Before the beginning of the first round of the seat allotment process, the JoSAA officials conduct a mock allotment round to familiarize the candidates with the seat allocation process of JEE Main 2023.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2023

Along with the official brochure, NTA released the official JEE Main eligibility criteria 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in in 2023. JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria will include information on the basic requirements that a candidate must meet in order to be eligible for the exam. There is no age limit for JEE Main 2023. Candidates who have have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exams from a recognized board. Compulsory subjects for JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. General Category candidates need to secure 75% marks in Class 12 for admissions to NIT, IIITs and GFTIs through JEE Main. Reserved Category candidates need to secure minimum 65% marks in Class 12 for admissions to NIT, IIITs and GFTIs through JEE Main

JEE Main Application Form 2023 (Session 2)

The NTA has closed the JEE Main 2023 application form for April session on March 16. The JEE Main registration process includes initial registration, filling out an application form with personal and academic information, uploading documents, paying the application cost, and submitting the application form. NTA had opened the JEE Main 2023 application form correction facility on March 13, 2023. Candidates can make correction and rectify the changes in application form till March 14, 2023.

Dear Student,

The new exam date for JEE Main April & May 2021 is expected to be announced anytime soon in June. The online registration for JEE Main May 2021 will begin after the confirmation of the exam date. As CBSE, ISC and other boards canceled the 12th exams, the government will look forward to conducting JEE Main Phase 3 & 4 as early as possible. In all probability, the exam process of JEE Main 2021 is expected to be wrapped up by August.
