Several scholarships are available for the students at DITU. The scholarships are mostly based on merit for which aggregate marks in X or XII Std are considered. Tuition fees up to a certain percentage is waived-off depending on the eligibility criteria and basis. Various DIT University scholarships are given for the following courses:

Sports area: Apart from studies, other activities and sports are also necessary, it not only keeps the student fit but also enhances his mind and concentration power. Badminton, Basketball courts, Cricket nets, Indoor games hall, and other such spaces are allotted at DITU so that enthusiasts can play matches, enjoy their stay at DIT and participate in various inter-block, inter-college, and other competitions.

Medical Facilities: Qualified and experienced doctors from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun run and manage the infirmary set at the campus to provide quick and best medical assistance. A Lady medical officer and an ambulance is present on the Campus 24/7 for the well-being and emergency situations.

Amphitheater: Open-air Amphitheatre is present near the hostel, where more than 400 students can sit and enjoy the cultural activities and other performances.

Convenience Stores: Stores are present at the DIT University Dehradun campus that provide stationery items, Xerox facility, printing facility, etc. Barbers shop and necessary items shops are present near the hostels. There is no need for the students to go out and search or shop for essential things. Everything is available on the Campus itself at an ease.

Security: Security guards are present all the time in and around the campus. CCTV cameras are also installed for the security of the students.

Hostel: Sarabhai, Bhabha, Raman, and Bose are the names of boys’ hostels that provide single/double/triple occupancy rooms and all other mentioned facilities. Around 1200 boys can stay here comfortably. Separate chairs, beds, study tables, and adequate washroom and restroom facilities are provided for the hostel students and actually for every student. More than 1000 girls stay here at the DITU hostel every year. Sarojini and Kasturba are the names of the girls’ hostel buildings. Proper supervision and security are carried out and the water-electricity supply is well-maintained and regular.
