    It is much easier to get admission for a distance course because there is no concept of entrance exam for distance courses, including the BBM courses. Students can get Admission for distance BBA via their intermediate certificates. The marks of students must not be less than 50% to get the merit BBM Admission.

    IGNOU Distance BBM:

    This course is offered by the School of Management Studies at IGNOU. Students after completing this course are awarded by IGNOU with an experience certificate as well. The course fee at IGNOU is about INR 27,000 for the BBM program. Admission in IGNOU is based on merit, and students are called for interviews.

    How to Get Admission for Bachelor of Business Management?

    Entrance examination: To seek admission to the BBM program, applicants must complete a standard admission test administered by numerous institutions and universities. Once the results are out, institutes will release their cut-off. Candidates securing the cut-off scores become eligible for Group Discussion/Personal Interview/Written Ability Test. 

    Personal Interview: An interview round is organized for the students who qualify for the admission test.

    BBM Admissions in Maharashtra

    NMIMS Mumbai is responsible for conducting the NPAT exam for admission in various UG and integrated PG courses at Mumbai. Symbiosis University offers admission to BBM through an admission test known as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). When a candidate qualifies for the entrance exam, he/she is then called for appearing in a counseling round. Other BBM Entrance Exams in Maharashtra include DY Patil University Common Entrance Test (DYPCET), AIMA UGAT, and Bharati Vidyapeeth Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (BUMAT). Other top universities offering admission to BBM in Maharashtra are IMED Pune, DYPUSM Mumbai, MIT College of Management Pune, etc. 

    BBM Admissions in Uttar Pradesh

    Admission to BBM under Delhi University is based on the entrance test score, and DU mostly conducts DU JAT for this purpose. The weightage for Written Exam is 65% while for XII Result is 35%. It is mandatory for the candidates to score a minimum of 60% or more aggregate in the qualifying examination in these four subjects: English, Mathematics and two other main subjects. Admission is also based on merit for that student’s performance in the previous qualifying exam. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is known for conducting admission for various courses like BBM through the IPU CET entrance exam. 

    BBM Admissions in Karnataka 

    Candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board with a minimum aggregate of 50% and English as one of the mandatory subjects. Students are required to clear the common entrance exam recognised by the particular college with a decent score as prescribed by the college.     BBM Admissions in Gujarat

    The most popular entrance examination for studying BBM in Gujarat is UGAT. Candidates must score well in UGAT to land in colleges like AURO University, Surat and United World School of Business (UWSB) - Ahmedabad Campus and Karnavati University. Rest of the colleges accept KUAT, FDDI AIST, etc. Candidates are also shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying exam i.e. Class 12th (a minimum of 50% aggregate). Then they may have to go through a selection process, as defined by the college, which may include personal interviews and/or Counselling.     BBM Admissions in Telangana

    BBM Entrance Exams

    NMIMS NPAT: The full form of NPAT is the National Test for Programs After 12th. The exam is conducted at the university level. SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is the conducting body for the NPAT exam. NPAT is conducted to get admission in various UG and integrated PG courses in Mumbai by constituent schools in Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses.

    SET: The full form is Symbiosis Entrance Test. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is the conducting body for the exam. The SET exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, and Liberal Arts. The weightage for the written exam is 50% and for GD/PI/WAT is 50%. 

    IPU CET: The exam name is Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. It is a university-level exam held for admission to UG & PG programs in the field of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, and Management. An individual must have a graduation degree with a minimum 55% aggregate to become eligible for the exam. 

    CUET: The Common University Entrance Test, earlier known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India test being organized by the National Testing Agency for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses, and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. The candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education to become eligible for the exam. 

    AIMA UGAT: Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test being administered by AIMA annually to screen the candidates for various undergraduate programs such as Integrated MBA (IMBA), BBM, BBA, BCA, BHM, B.Com, etc. To take the AIMA UGAT examination, one must have 10+2 in any subject from a recognized board. Through this examination, students are judged on the basis of their knowledge of the English language, logical reasoning, analytical skills, and general knowledge.
