    Anna University Latest News - Anna University admission to the MBA and MCA programmes is based on TANCET scores. TANCET is scheduled to be conducted on March 25, 2023. As per the AU admission criteria for ME, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan programmes, candidates need to appear for CEETA-PG. CEETA-PG will be conducted on March 26, 2023.

    Established on September 4, 1978, Anna University is a unitary university located in Chennai. Anna University campus (main) is spread over 189 acres of land. As per the QS World University Rankings 2023, the university bagged 185th rank with a score of 28.2. As per the NIRF Rankings 2022, Anna University secured 22nd rank in the overall category, 20th rank in the university category, and 21st rank in the research category. Furthermore, Anna University has received an "A" grade from NAAC with a CGPA of 3.46 on a four-point scale.

    Anna University has four main university department centres namely, the College of Engineering (CEG), Alagappa College of Technology (ACT), Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), and School of Architecture & Planning (SAP). Apart from this AU has 13 constituent colleges, three regional campuses at Tirunelveli, Madurai and Coimbatore and 593 affiliated colleges. It includes government, government-aided and self-financing colleges. Anna University courses list comprises a total of 133 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.     Overall: If I had to describe Anna University then is the greatest private university in India in one word, it would be unique because it is more than a massive campus with a large infrastructure; whatever you want as a student or as a person, you will find it here. This university accepts students from over countries worldwide.

    Placement: The Anna University is a well-known name, and numerous firms such as HCL, Oracle, and Adobe continue to hold workshops. The workshops have greatly aided us in becoming industry ready. You can also apply for internships at these businesses.The Anna University ensures that you have exposure in all essential sections by the time placement season begins.

    Faculty: The Anna University offers exceptional quality education to the students. The university provides high-quality study materials that are available both online and offline. The faculty are well-known in the discipline, and they keep you up to date on syllabus and current industry trends. As a student, I frequently approach them after class to get my questions answered or to discuss any projects or seminars I'm involved in, and they always extend the courtesy.

    Overall: Anna University is a great university and taking admission here is the best decision for my career. This university is a 5 star university for me that has all the facilities inside the campus. The campus is fully Wi-Fi and the hostels are really amazing. I would highly recommend thai university

    Placement: The placement is so good. Anna University provides the best placements that I saw ever. From the last semester, students are eligible for placements. The students have to score 80 percent above to take placements in top companies. The top companies are CISCO, TCS, HCL, Ola, Ford, Reliance, Hyundai, Samsung, Tiger analytics, Caterpillar, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Mostly 70 percent of the students get placements every year.

    Hostel: I took a hostel for Anna University and the hostels are really great. I would suggest you to go for hostels only. The hostels are fully furnished and you get the facilities of mess, cleaning, attached washromm, water cooler, and so on.
