Changes in AILET 2023

NLU Delhi has dropped two components from the AILET exam pattern beginning in 2022: Elementary Mathematics and Legal Aptitude. As a result, the AILET exam will be divided into three sections: English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs along with General Knowledge. The sectional allocation for the AILET exam has also been altered.

A minimum of 45 per cent of the total marks (or 40 per cent in the case of SC / ST / Persons with Disabilities) must be obtained by candidates who have completed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) to be eligible for AILET 2023. All OCI / PIO applicants would have to apply under the Foreign National or Indian Student categories.

The exam was held in offline pen and paper mode. The AILET law entrance test for BA LLB (Hons.) comprised 150 questions that students have to attempt within 90 minutes. Three (3) sections of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks will comprise the modified AILET 2023 syllabus for the BA LLB (Hons.) Program.

The modified syllabus for LLM for AILET 2023 will have 52 questions overall. Out of the total questions, Section A will have 50 objective style questions, and B will have 8 - 10 descriptive questions. Out of the 8 - 10 long-form questions, an applicant has to attempt any two.

Students who have doubts can reach out to CollegeDekho'sQ&A zone to get their answers about the AILET exam.
